The Style Birmingham Council was founded by Marcia and William Sherrill in 2006, as a member-organization dedicated to promoting the changing profile of Birmingham's Design Scene. With 25 members culled from the city's elite the organization has monthly spreads in Birmingham Homes & Gardens Magazine. With a base of leading florists, art galleries, interior designers, home and fashion boutiques, Style Birmingham will award its first ever Lifetime Achievement Award in 2008.
